We had some friends over from our Ethiopian group last night. Pat got in some "daddy practice" with our friends' daughters. Beza (on his lap) is almost exactly our little e's age. Helina (the other cutie) is a couple of months older. What fun!
I would just like to say I am SUCH a moron!! I JUST realized that I was following your blog when I first signed up with WACAP since I googled "Ethiopia" and "Wacap" and found your blog!! How strange that our journey's have been so similar! Blessings, girlfriend!
The “Taupes” are a mixture of two colorful families…it's not about skin color, but names. Here’s a story….’bout a man named Brown…..married a girl named White….now we’re the “Taupes.” We make our home in Denver, Colorado with our two sons….one "White"….one "Brown"…. both Taupe!
We just added another "Brown" to the family...this one a daughter from Ethiopia. We're a truly colorful family, now, and we couldn't be happier!
