Well we knew there was SUCH a need for families willing to adopt transracially...we found out that we're a little intimidating with 3 boys, even if we've got a great track record. :) It was an emotional roller coaster and I'm so relieved now that we are going this route!
The “Taupes” are a mixture of two colorful families…it's not about skin color, but names. Here’s a story….’bout a man named Brown…..married a girl named White….now we’re the “Taupes.” We make our home in Denver, Colorado with our two sons….one "White"….one "Brown"…. both Taupe!
We just added another "Brown" to the family...this one a daughter from Ethiopia. We're a truly colorful family, now, and we couldn't be happier!
