That dratted middle initial!

So I have a whole new batch of papers to get notarized and authenticated by the state. I drove all the way to the Secretary of State's office for the homestudy and the Power of Attorney. They wouldn't authenticate the Power of Attorney because the notary signed her name with her middle initial and her middle initial was not part of her original signature. Grrr.
