We accepted a referral this week for a sweet 13-month-old little girl! How exciting it is to have her picture up on our fridge. We can't wait to meet her. Holt says it could take up to six months to travel to pick her up. We hope and pray it won't take that long. If we have to bottle up our hugs and kisses for that long we'll go crazy--and our poor little one won't know what's hit her when we finally arrive!
Thanks to all of you who talked us through this enormous and emotional decision. We're lucky to have so much support from others who have already been down this path.
**We wish we could share our daughter's name and photo but we're not allowed to yet as she's not legally ours.
